Writing for children

Creative writing workshop by journalist & awarded children’s book author Melissa Hekkers for children and adults, both for groups and individuals.

The workshops and private lessons are based on the idea that a story can be made out of anything and aspires to stimulate imagination as well as assisting participants into a guided story writing exercise.

Melissa Hekkers is a Belgian born journalist, columnist and writer. She lives and works in Cyprus since 2004. She is also the author of a number of award winning children’s books including Crocodile, Flying Across Red Skies, Pupa and her latest series My Nicosia Mandala Colouring Book published in 2016 and My Akamas Mandala Colouring Book in 2017. All her children’s books have been published in both Greek and English.
